Intertwining sadistic thoughts into purity
Never ending sincerity so you think
Notice the twinkle in my eyes
Oh, how I have you wrapped around my finger
Calling yourself the wiser of them all
Everyone sees how I have you so fooled
Need I say anything more?
Clasp the thought of innocence in your mind
Everything is an illusion my love.
Illustrating
Sadism.
Overall innocence
varies. It's
everything
relishing in evil,
reacting to
all the possibilities
that cross its path.
Embrace it like
death.
Author notes
probably not what you're looking for. but i like to twist things.

This was very creative, my friend. You effectively expressed your views on the subject of innocence. I disagree heartily with your point of view, but that does not lessen my admiration of this piece. You went outside the box, and I am always a fan of such thinking. Thank you for entering!!!!

heh....the sad part is it reminds me alot of how i feel now. my old gf who i put EVERYTHING into, dumped me for a guy i knew in middle school. i have no or VERY little energy for anyone else and feel like its kinda pointless to move on..

i know that exact feeling... it sucks. SO much... the feeling is unbearable.

I disagree...innocence and purity of mind, soul and spirit are never overrated...but rather something to be cherished, honored and commended. Especially in this mad world in which we live. However, despite my disagreement with your thesis, you display creativity. You took the prompt and did something no one else did and made something completely original. It was gripping to read. Very nicely done!! Thanks for entering and good luck!

my whole thought of it, is that underneath the innocence you see, is really someone playing mind games. people take advantage of their ability to be "innocent" and my main goal was to do something original. thanks for your comment. good luck in judging.
