Meditation 14 - living breath

Meditation 14 ( living breath )

Breathing in,
I become aware within.

Breathing out,
I am aware without.

        I inhale, aware.
        I exhale, aware.

I breathe in
slowly,
like flowers opening in sun.

I exhale
slowly,
as day gradually becomes night.

With each inhalation,
I  open, slowly.
With every exhalation,
I close, slowly.

         I feel
         life’s ebb,
         life’s flow
         breathing
         within me.

    Being aware of life ...

in every breath, is to be aware of moments so precious it holds eternity. Spirituality is being aware that immortality is held within the beauty of the mortal being ... It carries on and on.

    Serene. Calm. Sensitive.

    Love
    Myra

Beautiful meditation Shepherd...no distracting excess words, only the fewest words possible to direct the breath...the inhalation awareness and the exhalation awareness...a perfect moment of peace in the rush of hectic days, thank you ...Peace, Rhonda

This is so beautiful it just makes me sigh...

    "I breathe in
    slowly,
    like flowers opening in sun."
