A Valiant Knight

Your armour may not be crafted
Of the finest metal 'round.
As well, your eyes may not boast
Courage of the profound.
Perhaps your mane is lacking
In that certain quality
What makes a damsel cry "Distress!",
But you're enough for me.

Sir Lancelot is loyal,
as he is brave and true.
His heart rings on for miles
To its size, the noise is due.
Lancelot would never choose
A nap over conversing.
If you may permit me to say,
Frankly, he does much learning.

The brown-locked knight is present
Through thick and all that's thin.
He is warm in winter
And he's not like other men.
Lancelot wants one thing, and one thing only;
To be held, and loved, and feel hapiness.
If I were to arrive somewhere, without his company
I'd surely die of Lancelot-loneliness.
