Splendor amongst the eras
only witnessed by the fallen
Those who obtain no acclaim
carried by wings of flawless diamonds
coating the angels heavenly song

When you're given the prompt of 'Angel Wings', then it's not that easy to try and avoid cliché. This poem isn't bad at all, but it rather leans to that side of poetry in my opinion.
Thank you for entering the contest
I wish you all the best!

This seems familiar to me somehow. Maybe I read it before earlier. Hmm, anyway, I really love it, it held me captive. A beautiful poem.

I can see angels singng at the feet of the fallen, that takes skill to get that kind of iimagery going on. Thanks again you used flawless diamonds, still love it.
