This is something one could see in the spring. Cats are very patient hunters.

Chances are
it is your cat!
Thank you for this fine poem and an amusing one as well. What season? Cat season!!
Thank you.

List
Hello there!
I like what you have done in this haiku.
But it reads like a choppy list. I've heard that haiku should only have one punctuated stop, but you have two here. Do you know something that I don't?
I'm learning this caper, so i don't really know what I'm talking about, I'm just trying to apply my limited learning.
best of luck in the contest.
have a gr8 day,
BJ.

OH!!! Those cats!!!
They might be my cats, actually, and I apologize. Your haiku springs me into the scene and I am chasing the cats away.
Now the mother bird is chasing ME away!
See? your haiku bursts into life.

Very clever mum. Brought a smile to my face. I was able to picture the scene you painted vividly. Well penned and much enjoyed. Best wishes in the contest.
