A Flower of Shame

Missing image
A flower so beautiful,
must endure
a life time full of pain.
Carrying the thorns,
where ever she goes.
She protects her self,
fear of people getting too close,
Just like a heart with a gate.
She fends herself off,
by her pointy swords
determined not to fail.
She will never surrender.

    Pain... carrying the thorns..A good description of suffering but if one looks forbeauty the pain goes away...good write that deserved the gold.
