I'm sure you've found out
Why I commit to you
Why I soak up your breathing
Mopping up with mouth
Your delicate friction sways me
Away from all agendas
Like I'm still reaching for you
When truck backs out of yard
Scouring shops in New London
For a gift to reflect us
To thank you for kindness
And to push forward these meanings
Almost have sudden urges
To cast fists into plaster
To keep you reminded
Of the protection you deserve
From Mondays in winter
When you kept stomach warm
And pressed your compassion
Into my shoulders
To Tuesdays in autumn
When you split your legs
Realeasing our first born
Into more promises of future
You grace me completely
Compliment even my bad nights
So tempted I am
To start a new religion for you
Content with your presence
To worship in trances
Fixated on the tightness
So hard to vocalize these words

Wow! The gold in this contest had to
be awesome....very deserving of the HM...if not more..
I love "From Mondays in winter
When you kept stomach warm
And pressed your compassion
Into my shoulders
To Tuesdays in autumn
When you split your legs
Realeasing our first born
Into more promises of future"

This is a great love poem bro.
This is one of my favorites of yours.
Cleverly done and you wrote this softly but In the same style as your usual.
Which I love.
Just don't hit no studs when punching through plaster or drywall.lol

Rich and warm and cleverly done!
Did you notice the warmth in tone to this most masculine
point of view poem! I really enjoyed this poem, it
showed a lot of depth! Cleverly written, each stanza
made us stop to really chew upon each word and thought!
well done poet, well done!
