Let it rain just for me please.
Let the water soak my skin
As these frozen tears burn my eyes.
It's the only way
I'll get away with all my crying.
Let it rain just for me please.
Let the water hide my sorrow
As my eyes burn from frozen tears.
Raindrops mix with teardrops
It's my only excuse
To get away with all these tears.
Let it rain just for me please.
Let the water wash away my scars.
As my iced tears drop like a million burning comets.
There is no other way
To disguise my falling tears.
A walk, a sulk, a raindrop in the storm.
Just let it rain for me please!
And the healing teardrops can
Soak my skin,
Hide my sorrow,
And wash away my scars.

This is a very well written piece. I read this and your emotion grabs my heart. So much use of metaphors and the way you hide your pain in the rain is something I have written about also about a year ago... I can really relate to this! I hope you feel better already and that the frozen tears were melted by someone's love. May you find warmth and happiness in the days to come and may the only tears you cry be tears of happiness!

wow, this a great poem and i like the simile you used in the second stanza, i thought the background made some of the words a little hard to read though...
