I have this ache inside
don't know where to turn
I know what I want to do in life
to do something I so yearn
but I keep gettin knocked down
flat upon my ass
I cannot seem to get up
Why is life so crass?
I feel I'm headed nowhere
my goals I can't achieve
I slowly lose my faith
In dreams do I believe?
I've screwed up much in life
I've really gone nowhere
my life is passing quickly
yet nothing seems to fare
I only hope and pray
that something happens fast
for my impatience grows
How long will these times last?
I ask the Lord to help me
find my way in life
and get me through these trials
and not cause me so much strife
so now I give it up to God
to help me on my way
and help me reach my goals
But why can't it be today?

Hard to imagine ...
how you could feel you've accomplished nothing when you have 4 children.
However, I do know how frustrating it can be to be locked into a rut with seemingly no way out.
