As I looked upon my garden so fair,
I saw an angel standing there,
She saw that all my flowers were in bloom
And asked me what I was doing that afternoon,
Never did I think that day
Would change my life in so many ways
For she carried me over the holy land
Taking me gently by the hand,
She told me that Jesus was born here
And I could see the place oh so clear.
"Jesus loves you, this you know
For the bible tells you so"
She told me that every time I'm in my garden
Jesus loves me, as in the forest of arden
Where rosolind does love the trees,
The sound of birds, the sound of bees,
And jesus loves these things of ours,
In my garden I stay for hours.
The angel really changed my life
And now I'm a mother, and a wife,
But years have gone by since that beautiful day,
But I wait for the angel still, in my garden I stay.

love it!
I thought this piece to be so enchanting... Mystical and mythical at the same time...good job enjoyed it

This tells a pleasant story, well written and with great imagery.
The only part that threw me off, and it is probably just my lack in knowledge of biblical literature, was the forest of arden.
Is there a deeper meaning, and if so, what is it?
Good write. -
