All around me

You disappeared like the sun on a cold winter day
I can still feel your heart beating in my head
The barn fire never seemed so empty that night you dissapeared
But i could see your face in those hot blue flames,
and feel your passion in the burning heat
You kept me alive
You were the sparks in my life
Now,i am left with nothing,nothing to survive with.
Now,as i look all around me,
I see your face in everything that i do.
At night when i take a walk down the frigid beach
your voice echoes as the waves wash up on the shore,
my coldness is taken away as i hear I'm still here
I find myself looking over my shoulder just to see if you are there.
The happiness in my life was based on you and your love
At night i lie in my bed clutching this picture from years ago
Trying to feel your head on my shoulder after a long day of work
Now i am searching for your soul
trying to find the only thing in this world that mattered to me
Nothing can ever be the same
I wake up in the night and i feel your lips on mine
and i cry,cry cause i know you will never return
