Should the world be but one colour
other than plain old black and white
Then the colour I would choose would be
an amalgamation of you in sight.
A tinted hue of love and kisses
blended with honey and fulfillment of wishes,
Cool shades of affection brought in to the mix,
for the number of times my heart you fix.
Dashes of red for excited anticipation,
a little bit of blue for the slight hesitation
The touch of yellow as sun in the morning,
the feel in my heart for you as it's warming
Green for the fact that you help me to grow,
Amber perhaps as at times I am slow
blended together would be a rainbow delight,
any colour would do as long as you were in sight.
