Words that tumble from a void
Like a storm inside a paper cup
They leave their marks upon us all
In universal thoughts
Dreams that pool inside our minds
Then drift away like scattered leaves
They tumble as they fly away
Like birds into the night
Ad infinitum
Everything that stays the same
Everything where nothings gained
Everywhere there is change
Everything that stays the same
Images of martyred saints
Reflecting from an open sky
They beckon with their holy words
In universal guise
Spoken thoughts that gather in our minds
Meander like a flowing stream
Like wind inside a shuttered room
They blow away like leaves before a storm
Ad infinitum
Everything that stays the same
Everything where nothings gained
Everywhere there is change
Everything that stays the same
Colours that dance across my eyes
With voices of an ancient quest
Inviting all and everyone
To share the love we bring
That shines brightly like a nova star
In endless universal themes
They quiver in the morning light
In this life where heaven and hell lie
Ad infinitum
Everything that stays the same
Everything where nothings gained
Everywhere there is change
Everything that stays the same
Author notes
The mind is its own place and in itself, can make a Heaven of Hell, a Hell of Heaven.

Ooooo.
This is really interesting.
I love the vivid use of words, descriptive, really brings you in.
Loved that.

I enjoy the beginning the most because it really sets the poem up really well. Very great use of words & gives the reader a good idea of what's happening, but let's the imagination soar. =D
Great job here.
