A long time ago when I was so young,
When everything should have been perfect,
I saw the door to hell gripping onto her,
And this girl, she thought it was worth it.
She had an enormous gift;
I should think from heaven,
Her beauty was so magical,
However she could not put her life together.
I would watch her in school,
And everyday I would see her change,
With everyday going by,
Her face was becoming thinner and horribly pale.
She was so smart,
So talented and gifted as was said,
However she was nothing much;
She was stupid and silly to the end.
In front of my eyes,
I could almost see her playing her terrifying game,
But at the same time I felt the presence of the innocent terrified girl,
Trying so hard to earn fame.
Why stupid you ask?
Simply because she refused to eat.
Why silly you ask?
Because she did not attempt to cease.
And so she went on and on,
Pushing the boundaries of ‘normal’ life,
There was nothing that was to stop her now,
She herself chose this fight.
Then one day we got told,
That last night her terrified soul,
Last saw the light of day,
And than she slowly drifted away.
And now I can only think,
I had left her to die,
I was the stupid one and not her,
She was just a victim going too far.
She was very ill,
And what I blamed her with was just that.
Now, I see with every look she gave me,
She just wanted me to give her my heart.
And so this girl had died,
And as long as I live,
I will never forgive myself,
Punish me if I will.
Please tell me what you think

This is such a powerful Poem!
Become Active, i'd love to talk through this, and the way you used your words.
Unbelivably amazing.
Nice Write,
