My walls black with whitened stains,
Covering my colored pains.
The sky white with darkened clouds,
Looking out to earthlings’ crowds.
Earthlings crowds of only two,
White and black, not me and you.
Gone to the angst of shadow’s rage,
Here we lay our frightful stage.
But through the midst of black and white,
Purple lies deep in my sight.
A color of difference, of a joyful tune,
Brightening the days of afternoon.
Purple a color unique to its own,
Sitting on its royal thrown.
Black and white, but purple too,
Now perhaps there is me and there is you!
