He was hanging with his buddies,
I waited by the phone.
Nothing.....
He was with her....
I was mad, but forgave him.
He said to stay in the car,
He would only be a minute.
Leaving me there with a stranger.
I watched my love,
Go into a bar with her....
Knowing damn well,
I wasn't allowed.
Minutes faded to an hour,
Freezing in the cold,
They emerged with smiles.
I was expected to forgive.
He stole my innocence,
As well as my sanity.
This had gone on too long,
The scars will never heal,
The pain will never fade,
I only have baggage to bring.

This is a personal write, I was with my bf (at the time) for on and off for 2 years, he was older then me, and could go out to the bars while I stayed home, almost every weekend waiting by the phone.
