Watching the sunset, mesmerised with colours
Reflections in the sea, prisms of light, dancing in the hours
It is only a short time, to observe this unique sight
Darkness falls, time changes, no more light
Yet! feel the sand under your feet, where it tickles your toes
Take in the resonant sound of the waves, listen to the ebb and flow
Take deep breaths, feel and taste the sea
Empty your mind, for now you are free
Your day has been heavy, with the stresses of life
But this time, is your time, forget the strife
You are alone on the beach, and the moon is aglow
You have watched the sunset come and go
Different changes from hour to hour
The moonlight now reflects, Gods ultimate power
The waves slowly lap at your feet like balm
You reflect on the day, you feel contented and calm
Gods gift of creation is there everyday
Take time to observe it, do it now, don't delay

Lovely rhyme and flow. Beautiful descriptions. Love "the waves lap slowly at your feet like balm." Yes! That is how I remember it. Congrats on the silver!
