Listen!

Are you listening?
Or are you looking, judging?
I'm speaking.
Can you hear me through your own thoughts?
Don't focus on the eyeliner tracking down my face,
on the tears in my jeans,
the black in my hair.
Don't think, just listen.
I might say something that will save you,
but you won't hear it. You refuse.
Is my message coming through?
Don't nod unless you mean it.
Take me seriously, don't be distracted.
Close your eyes if you have to.
LISTEN!

If you can't hear this -
Close your eyes.
It might open your mind.

Hey, its sound advice. We should not judge people on their appearances. I know I've done that before and have also been wrong about it. Hopefully people learn to judge people on how they treat one another.

I love it. I like how you express that even though you may not look or act like people want you to you still have feelings and want to express yourself.

I felt the frustration before I got to your author notes. You did a great job of making it clear. I enjoyed reading your words. Great job.
