Timeless Raindrops

After we are lain to rest
The timeless raindrops we still be
A part of all that's beautiful
That part we seldom see
And if my death brings sorrow
I pray, don't weep for me
For now my eyes are open
Blessed by timeless raindrops
And God's great majesty

Wonderful thought behind this one. . .It's very nice to see someone able to contain so much in so little space, without having to rely on a strict rhyme scheme or never-ending prose. I found the poem to be beautiful. . . keep writing!

    Inspiring

Thank you for looking at the ordinary falling raindrops and seeing past the chill or inconvenience they may bring to their testimony for God's creation. I humbled.

    Beautiful but sad too.

This is a very tender poem and reflects upon the real aspect of death. That those left behind can shed thier tears but hopefully will realise that the person has gone to a much better place, and feels no more sorrow or pain. There is true beauty in the fact that we can find in death the true light of God and his majesty. You have written a very heartfelt and beautiful poem. I wish you much luck in this contest I realy like this.

Bob, the tears shed as one passes, raindrops still pour like rain, sorrow through passing of a life brings relief that pain is gone...raindrops always pretty even on the coldest of days, nice piece here ...good luck..Moons
