I see it start and I smile inwardly
I watch as it' s beautiful head blossoms
I feel it's colours richen and I sigh
Knowing it only lasts until winter.
The summer breeze wafts it's scent towards me
And it calms every scense in my body
I lay back and I see it sway gently
It's time is running out so I must watch
Even if I sit and watch it all day.
It's slender form and petals make me smile
But winter is approuching fast and I
Will have to say goodbye to it at last
For I cannot keep, with all my power
The beauty that's hidden in a flower.

Very nice, could well fit many lovely flowers. I especially enjoyed "I cannot keep, with all my power, the beauty that's hidden in a flower." Congrats on the bronze.

=D very nice....theres a sense of ambiguity at the beginning where u can be talking about somehting other than a flower but then you make it clear...I like it and I like the way it flowed, thanks for enetring!

I enjoyed reading this very much. I think you did a great job with this. Scense should be sense, other than that a good write.
