The undisputed truth
busy signals from the cramped cold telephone booth
truth is I'm a waste of time
stranded downtown
I've spent my last dime
Tears fall in aged wrinkles
Mother Earth's November showers ever falling ever sprinkles
I'll add this to my things to do list
Forget your name and relocate to Massachusetts
Where big city sounds me up to wake
because I'm sick of pretending your love pretending was fake
a life left behind forgotten with time
our love like cheap wine fermenting sour like lime
I'd say my goodbyes if I knew how to release
I unlocked my heart but you ran away with the keys
You're just a star glowing faint in the far-off distance
You're the one that I loved the one that granted my wishes
busy signals from the cramped cold telephone booth
truth is I'm a waste of time
stranded downtown

Yeah I kinda understand it, but not as much. However the good news is that I did like some of the verses that I thought were VERY beautiful.
