Distant Valentine

600 miles seems a long way
But even through distance, I have to say,
I love you
Do you love me too?

But for now, though it's a long way
We can live for each other and everyday say,

For my Valentine, Tim. This is just a short little thing I jotted down on a napkin while standing behind a very boring cash register at work, but it is what it is and it's how I felt at the time.

    Great title, nice use of repetition and monorhyme. Lovely thought, to both live to be your very best selves everyday, motivated by wanting the best for each other!
