Every Lil’ Marks

“Fine edges
Little lines
Deep ones
Visible to your eyes
Marks unforgotten
Years cannot fade them
It has different stories
A part of my miseries”

It’s all written in my hands
Things you will never understand
Graffiti of my soul
A path I will always recall
Lil’ marks that can make you see
The different part of me
Not created to live in satisfaction
But instead, to erase the pain of rejection
Painful miseries that other soul had given
Because of them I am now branded as mistaken
But never in my life I looked back and felt sorry
For in every mark, I learned bravely in that story
Not only those visible scars I carry in my heart
But also the hidden ones that tore me apart
Though, those scars won’t help me forget
Still… I find no room for regret
For it made me who I am today
And no matter what they say
Mine are beautifully written
Not intended to be hidden

I loved this....it spoke deeply of my need to reconsile my differences with people that have hurt me in the past...something that as yet I am willing to do...Lovely work.
