I have a baby brother
who’s not the same as me.
He has the teeniest weeniest tail,
as small, as small can be.
And even when he’s wide awake
his tail is fast asleep,
but sometimes it lifts up its head
to take a little peep.
Once Mum took Tommy’s nappy off
and his tail was looking round,
and Dad was sitting next to her,
Dad made a funny sound.
He hurriedly put down his tea
and suddenly jumped up,
‘cos my brother’s naughty little tail
had wee’d in daddy’s cup!

Great to have you home with us again. I have been on a holiday, of sorts. Love to you and your little brother. Annie and Meagan

Annie & Meagan
Sorry this has taken me a while, but my dialup connection is really playing up. Hope to stay on long enough to visit your pages.
Thanks for the comments on what was really a rather daft poem - but if it raised a smile - I thank you. :-)

Memorable
This is very personal and a very clever piece of verse. Thanks for the thoughts and words! -

Thanks Jim
Thanks for taking the time to comment on my poem. Unfortunately, at the moment, although I am at last able to stay on this site for more than five minutes, the minimum time it takes to change pages is one minute and forty seconds. Grrrrr
I shall be visiting your web page soon - I hope, fingers crossed.
Thanks again :-)

Do you have any idea how clever this poem is?
VERY!
Oh, the cutest 'lil child speaking up and so innocently, too.
Love the rhyming throughout.

Thank you Melodies! :-)
This "tale" was told to me by a very earnest four year old girl who was fascintated with her baby brother's appendage! :-)
