Reality
Illusions die
Eyes don't lie
Water rushes to soul
From dark rivers flow, stagnant
The well of receiving knows light
from its own deceiving, dark filled night.
In endless torment cries her pain, to regain
the innocence of childhood lost. She screams once again
My Aligirl, wild child, teardrop of blood falls, washes away.
Author notes
This is the first gold I ever won. Apparently, I was able to know her without ever seeing her or talking to her.

I truly love this poem, it is certainly one of your most intense, most profound and most beautiful writes so far ... no wonder it attracted a gold trophy ... I am not surprised that you are able to capture the energy and state of mind of another soul ...
a stunning verse indeed ...

Why is this one not in the current contest that is going on right now, if I may ask? It has lots of potential and pre-writes are accepted..maybe you liked the other one better perhaps? mmmm

Yes,
I looked at both and then decided on the second. If you allow multiple prewites, I will put both of them in or I will put this one in if you prefer it. I, now have a better understanding of what might appeal to you. This was a peeling away of another's mask to look inside them without ever meeting them or talking to them. It got me a gold with that judge, so I must've been close to the mark.
