Pools Of Blue
You think you know me.
You really do.
I see that you believe,
That you can always understand.
But, you don't.
And you never will.
You'll never get what has happened,
You'll never see what's going on,
You'll never know will come next.
You do not know me at all.
I'm not even half of
The person
You think me to be.
So many lies,
So many tragedies,
So many secrets,
Hide behind these
Innocent, azure eyes.
Things you'd never
Expect,
Things you'd never
Guess.
You think you know my pain,
But, can you truly say
That you have felt it too?
Have you felt it burning
Thoughout your body,
Prickling your every choice,
Your every movement,
Your every speech.
Who do you think I am?
What do you think you know?
Have you looked deep,
Down into these pools of blue?
Everyone's eyes tell a different
Story.
And sometimes I wonder,
What you see in mine.
