fingers graze
the silence of ripples
passing by
my blurring reflection.
where do i
want to be?
where do i
cease to breathe?
a constant revision
of old thoughts
and quiet cries.
a question
pause
and slow epiphany.
revisit
the shallow water
and ask
what's wrong..
flick a rock
off into the deep.
was it fate
or gentle force?
look down at my feet
as the rocks fall back
in place.
it is here i leave.
withdrawn to a world
they cannot trace.
Author notes
i guess this is about my indecision with things. being a youth, and wanting to withdraw from the places that leave me uneasy.
