Bad Habits

I don't always make the right choice
But my intentions are good
I'd do anything for you
And you know I would

Like a siren you seem to call
And each time I come running
As a failed assassin

For my sanity you keep gunning

  Bad habits

  I need to break

  Bad habits

  My life they take

Work hard every day

To make that dollar

Spend it fast

At the hoot-n-holler

Two fifty a bottle

Twenty bucks a song

A dollar to say hi

Then spend it all night long

  Bad habits

  I need to break

  Bad habits

  My life they take

I wish I could

Find the key

Open the lock

And be set free

 From

  Bad habits

  I need to break

  Bad habits

  My life they take

  Bad habit

  How well I know

  Bad habits

  A bad way to go

Please tell me what you think

I love the repetition and the rhyming in this, it worked very well. The poems also very expressive of your thoughts. well done!
