Tonight …is the always and forever of us
Tonight …is a promise of two souls completing one another
but our souls are only catching up to our hearts
Because this is not the beginning

Tonight is only an announcement
An announcement of our love which has been resting within

At some point before this day there was one single moment that marked the beginning
How many moments have defined our lives?
The one moment that defined “us” was our beginning

It wasn’t today
