A hug is comfort,
Warming of the soul,
Safety from danger.
A hug is a blanket,
to console the hurting,
or to shelter the frightened.
A hug is a friend;
a simple greeting,
or it can be much more.
A hug is console:
as a sign of caring;
something we all should appreciate.
A hug is like a wave
washing away the problem at hand
even if only for a moment.
A hug is like wind
whistling in your ear;
a sense of forgetting Now.
Around you are arms
waiting to be used,
craving something to hold on to.
Take every opportunity
to show you care,
to everyone around you...
And the favor will be returned.

I hated this poem but it is now much better and ready for comments ! i love hugs . some hugs are good and some are just nice. do you like hugs?

i love hugs as well i give hugs a lot especially to those who ask for one so they feel better. this poem is excellent the description of what a hug is and what it feels like is outstanding my favortie line is "A hug is like a wave
