Reclaiming the Route

I am human Lord, a soul blemished
by my own doing

I know your path is righteous, and
its route I must seek

My soul is a dry land, parched and
in need of Life from You

Back to the inner chambers I must go,
to hear amidst silence your voice once again

Then to utter from once silent lips
my love for You, and to others this to hear

My journey will again begin, but this time
without blindness that can not see

But first, from dry land I must remove
this I, me and myself within my being

Then, blessings will pour like stream of refill,
when I from parched land admit you’re Lord and King

This is a beautiful, humble, spiritual piece of writing. There can be times we fall short of what our heavenly father requires of us, yet in the inner chambers of our spiritual mind we never forget the peace from following the path that brings all things beneficial to us.
I did so enjoy reading this, thank you for sharing these thoughts.

In humbleness and in love ...

the poet surrendered to the Highest Power, our King and Lord. Reclaiming the route often means to be stripped of self and in silence, separated for God (heilig), the Voice is heard again: strong, soothing and filled with Love and forgiveness.
How wondrous to be merely a child in his Presence -- embraced by his Forgiveness.

    Good luck in the contest.

    Blessed be, Friend.
