sabhi raste huey they khaar khaar
unhein shadab kardiya usne
meri baton mein kai lamhein they

TRANSLATION

kuch is tarah mujhe gulab kardiya usne
andheri raat thi mahtab kardiya usne

Strange was the way he turned me into a rose
Dark was the night I bloomed like moon

sare mehfil mujhe dekha aise
mujhey saara hijaab kardiya usne

A glance my way came like a wave
surrendering my self I melted away

sabhi raste huey they khaar khaar
unhein shadab kardiya usne

all paths bleeded with thorns and pins
all paths he caressed into beds of blooms


meri baton mein kai lamhein they
Unhein kitaab kardiya usne

he wrote epics from moments
that danced inside my head
