Shattered

I let my heart slip,
It fell into the dust.
Shattered peices scatter to the wind.
An empty place where there once was love.
I let a tear slide down my cheek.
My hands clench.
I begin to shudder.
I was so blind,
To allow him to do this to me.

    wow

This was a very good write.. Altho it didnt rhyme and really short, i thought it was well written and very emotional... Its amazing how small it can be, but yet so damn strong. You did a great job writing this piece... It was amazing!!!

Wow! This is great! "I was so blind, To allow him to do this to me." You gave such profond and deep emotions in this write.. And you were able to write it in a short poem with so much creativity... I like this poem a lot!
