My Sacrifice

In a world all people know
Different for all who go
I saw you in the natural state
You sat upon a marble slate

The sun shone on your hair
Warmed your skin so bare
Your eyes sparkled like moon washed waves
Oh how I longed for long past days

Your smile beemed at the sight of your love
Pure and light as the dove
Alas, you were not looking at me
The other was all you could see

And as my heart broke
It also smiled when you spoke
You were happy and so was I
Though the pain made me cry

My life is empty without you
I hardly see each day through
But now your happy
What else could I do

i do not like the way you ended your last two lines. sounds like a quick cop out to an ending to a poem. you are a better writer than this. try taking the ending into a different direction, if possible. kinda give it more a blessed feeling of having been happy to atleast experience love with that "one". just my opinion. but just speaking in terms of poetic writing abilities.
your vision of peace and satisfaction is greatly expressed in this.

this brings peace to the poem(my fav part)
