Sitting on the footstep of a golden sunrise
Mountains daring to dance in its splendor
Fading in and out of the glance of your eyes
Giving into the emotion of complete surrender
Exuberance for the knowledge of knowing
About the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
It’s not as shallow as it seemed to be glowing
I walked through the mist just to see the show
And I’m so enthralled by what I found out
As the sunrise changes from maroon to rust
No longer wondering, or eaten up with doubt
I am settled inside and fully able to trust.
I know that no matter what may come to be
The secret is safe in nature’s beautiful hands
It’s between the two of us, just you and me
Only the valleys and trees know where we stand.

Perfect....
The words used are just precise for each emotion you expressed and the flow has come out beautifully.The poem is really different from other entries,has a vivid concept and beauty and simplicity is so.....well described!Sorry if the comment is short,I don't have enough words and time (too!)to comment on your great work.
