She kicks off her shoes
Into the gold leaves
Sits upon the wooden swing
Grasps the chains with satin sleeves
The air is crisp
Flows through her hair
The roses peek up
At her beauty so fair
The damsel shows a delicate smile
As she prepares her leap into the leaf pile
The smile still remains in place of her frown
As she stands tall to brush off her gown

A fun uplifting write. Loved the carefree feeling it left me with...also reminded me of those good ol' days of being a kid. I loved swinging and jumping...much enjoyed.
