Wintertide

landscapes scattered
with icebound intentions;
as frozen leaves land
on the permafrost.

the trees snap
under powdery coatings,
the weight too much.

the hot springs boil,
midwinter wishes.
unseasonal summer.

    Your so amazing with imagery! I just loved the idea of the snapping tree because it is exactly how I feel about winter. I just want to snap. So for me, this piece reflected my digust, yet, my love for winter landscapes at the same time.

    I didn't want to spoon my eyes out! I loved it! Good luck. Ryan
