IT HURTS when you tell me to stop,
and deeply.
HURTS more than a slap across the face,
more than biting my lip trying
not to cry.
AND IT HURTS that the only time,
your skin,
in shadow,
in the car, me
straightfaced, shotgun
and the way
you touch me on the shoulder,
and say,
i love you.
you say,
i love you.
maybe you mean it.
it hurts
to bleed
it probably hurts
to die
the way you walk
toward the reflection of us
and say,
seriously.
you say,
seriously.
maybe you mean it.
BUT IT HURTS
when you tell me to stop.

you know i can super relate to this..
maybe is a sad word.. it can mean many things but usually it means 'no'.
i think you've done wonderfully with this and i am SOO happy that you didn't rhyme!! you get cookies for that
anyway.... i really did enjoy this write; i definatly hold words close to me when i know that someone else has gone through my pain.
thank you so much for entering

I dunno if it hurts to die, but I know it hurts to -almost- die...
Sometimes it annoys me when people copy and paste, but I ADORE this part:
"your skin,
in shadow,
in the car, me
straightfaced, shotgun
and the way
you touch me on the shoulder,
and say,
i love you.
you say,
i love you.
maybe you mean it."
Seriously amazing

(You rock, just btw
)
