I was on the phone that day,
Comforting a friend.
Then you shouted at me,
Something that I could not defend.
Leave you alone?
Well how can I?
When I love you the most,
But no matter,
to you I'm just a ghost.
I know you don't have to feel the same way,
as I feel for you.
But you could at least notice that I care,
and not just ignore the love that I give to you.
I have no-one,
And neither do you.
But never mind,
You like someone else.
So I’m nothing to you.

I congratulate you on your proper use of grammar and puncutation. If only some adults could do this well with the mechanics of poetry. The content is good, I can feel the hurt you're projecting. However, try to work on making the words flow more smoothly. Keep writing and I'm sure you will deliver some flawless poetry as you progress with your talent. Best of luck in this contest.
