We are sorry that this happened again and we had prayed it
never would.
We are grateful though that the loss of life was not greater.
You will mourn and that is right,
know that we here in Virginia know your plight.
We mourn, we pray and we stand with you.
As it was said of Virginia Tech, today we are all Illinois University.
We will resolve together to put an end to sorrow and suffering of the loss of those so bright.
Their star is not diminished.
Nor has it gone out, it just shines a little brighter now.
Author notes
It is impossible to fatham how the families feel. Virginia loss many in April of 2007 and prayed that another shooting on campus never happened again.

YOur are always showing love and compassion to every one, big and small. This is one of those times that you open your heart again. Beautiful words.

Thank you Judy for your very heartfelt entry.
It is so unbelievable that this continues to happen and that our young lives are taken from us. Let us pray that somehow there is some good that comes from such evil.
