Draw me a bath
in the sounds of violin
press the play button
and you are covering me
in warm water
to cleanse my soul...
The sounds wash over me
like water covering my every inch
slowly relaxing my body and mind...
So I put my head in deep
submerge myself in its sweet sound
and don't come up for air
until I can't hold my breath anymore...
I wipe my eyes
and open them wide
and I look at myself
so refreshed and relaxed
staring with open eyes
at my own smiling face
and see that a music bath
was all I needed...

There was a contest held by Wildchild310 where you had to pick a quote and write what it made you feel. I missed the deadline for it, but wanted to write something anyway.
The quote was 'Take a music bath once or twice a week for a few seasons, and you will find that it is to the soul what the water bath is to the body.'

Breathtaking
I like this cause I am a musician and I can totally relate to this feeling. another brilliant work by you. I think an extra stanza describing what you see/feel/taste under'water' would help this, but if you leave it as is it would still be breathtaking. -
This is very beautiful, music is such a refuge for me that I can totally relate to this. Lovely descriptions, quite original as well.

Awww!! i love it!! I think i can guess what this one is about!!
haha its kind of obvious with the Violin thing and everything!!lol
but i love this poem, for some reason it was like you were painting a visual in my head and i could see it all, i felt like i was there.... it really touched me and i can kind of relate to that feeling besides the whole violin thing but just like the gist of it.. the fact that you only needed something little to feel something big,Its like you saying that small things can help to and all you need is a little of something to feel specail and feel that you have finally done something worth living for.
I totally love this poem and think its one of the best!!!
