If i only could i'd drag the moon so close,
that i might see the beauty of your reflection,
like a lily-skinned ghost.
If i only could i'd make the deserts green,
and make a new eden upon it's canvas,
that you might live forever happy and serene.
If i only could i'd pave your steps on every street,
with the purple irises you love,
making sure each one is like you: unique.
If i only could i'd build for you a palace,
and devote to you my every breath,
so your soft hands would never become calloused.
If i only could i'd give my life on earth to you,
so that more generations might see,
the earthbound angel who keeps the sky so blue.
If you only wanted i'd do anything you ask,
even if i had to face the devil,
i'd guard you to the last.
If only i could see your eyes that outglitter the sea,
if only... if only...
if only you wanted me.
