Even when we're together
I always feel like I'm so alone
Walking in the rain with you
Is like tears falling from above
Dripping on me,
The angels from heaven are crying for us
They're sad for us
Our pain is their pain
A day will come when we can share an umbrella
And walk together
But today I just feel so alone
With you by my side.

This was sad, you really capture the phenomenon of how even when we are in company we can feel so isolated. I loved the image of two people walking in the rain and thought the line "A day will come when we can share an umbrella" was romantic and caring as well as having a wishful feel to it. This was a great piece, well done x

you did an excellent job on this prompt. as I read through this I felt a great deal of sadness. sadness is such a strong emotion, I do believe that everyone at one time or another can relate to this poem in their own way. you did an outstanding job to include the reader in this painful moment.

There is a lot of pain an sadness in this piece. It related to me as well. There is like a nothingness there, even though you aren't alone. Very well written.
