You see me for who I am,
And that is what I love.
You see me as another person,
And not just another fling,
You see me as I want to be seen,
And that is what I love.
I love the look that comes over you
Whenever I come near,
I love the way you smell in the morning
Even before you take a shower,
I love everything about you,
For that is for sure.
There is nothing about you that I could hate,
Not the arrogance that forms your character,
Or the ego that sometimes harms me.
I could not hate a thing about you,
For my love is but to strong.
I couldn’t hate the terrible act you try
And play before your friends,
I couldn’t hate the lie that lies within,
And I certainly could never hate you.
Even though you left me for that other woman
I could never truly hate you,
My love for you is but to strong.
I could not hate you when you lost our
Home in gambling,
I couldn’t even hate you when I lost you
To that bad deal where something terribly went wrong
For my love for you was but to strong
Now I stand above your grave,
The love I once held for you causing me so much pain
I don’t know what to do,
For now I know true hate,
What has happened to me?
I fell in and out of love…

My Option/inspiration:
"This is my last goodbye
Leaving all the memories of you behind
I will not wait here
And waste my whole life"

"I love the way you smell in the morning
Even before you take a shower," --- That actually reminds me of a fling I had...
I honestly expected this to do a 360 but it didn't. I'm not in love with this piece, excuse the pun, but I did enjoy this a lot. Thank you for the entry
