and I see Your glorious presence everywhere.
I can see You paint the sunset in the skies
and its vision brings Your beauty to my eyes.
Your wisdom is the magic You create.
Nature's balance in Your hands a perfect state.
The springtime brings the warmth of Your embrace.
Your whisper is the breeze upon my face.
As the hours of my life are passing by,
and my time upon this earth is drawing nigh,
Tomorrow, I may take my final breath
and some may shed a tear to grieve my death.
My journey to Your bosom, I await,
and I'll look upon Your face at heaven's gate.

This is how my Mom felt and through her testimony and the life she led, we, her children, have all come to know Our Risen Lord's presence in our lives.
He was born; He lived; crucified and lives evermore!

No need to feel, I KNOW I WILL
Such lovely pictures you paint with your words. This brings thought and searching with it, and the place to begin the search is the Scriptures. I Know I'll be with the Lord because the Bible says...."These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God: that ye may KNOW that ye have have eternal life
and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God"
1 John 5:13 -

Testimony for the Lord. Your mom sure brought the blessings of Christ to her family. The best gift any parent can give their child!!! Your love for Jesus really shows in this piece. Thanks for your entry and the best of luck in the contest!!!~~Toni~~ -
Wow. I love this so much. the journey here, is said in so few words, which to me relates to the reality of how short our mortal time is compared to our time with ou heavenly father. My journey to your bosom, I await, and I'll look upon your face at heaven's gate.

I KNOW I will some day be with God through the shed blood of His son on the cross
Al, this is a wonderful poem and I can share the same feelings with you. I see God's handiwork in the place He led me to live. I see the beauty of Winter snow, Spring blossoms, Summer evenings lit up with stars above and fire flies below, The breath taking colors of Autumn. Yes, He is everywhere all the time but the best sight I will see (as you put it( is "His face at heaven's gate" All the best in the contest

Al,
This is wonderful. If flows so nicely. I believe I told you I wasn't a fan of political or religious poetry but this is very well done.
