Snowdrops

Missing image
Among dry grass and twigs
Green sprouts push through
Snowdrops with drooping heads
As the first sign of spring
Brings hope that there is an end
To blustery winter weather

Author notes

Prompt picture
Around my neck of the woods snowdrops are up late February.
