This is it!
Today’s the big day!
The day I get better looking,
which happens every time
I awaken.
This day is going to be awesome!
Yeah, I know,
my daughter says the same thing you are
right now,
denying the truth of how beautiful my looks
can be.
She’s young though,
naïve in her physical kind of way,
but still smiling with pride
at my unashamedly exalting in
the looks I have.
My looks are full of love,
you see.
Made up of love,
in fact.
Everywhere my looks take me
is a joy to behold.
Every where my looks are present
there is reverence for the life
that is seen.
Every day my looks get better and better,
seen as a light which is older than time.
I can’t wait until tomorrow,
where I know that your looks
can get better as well.
Together, we can be the best looking
humans that have ever seen this world.
But for now, yes,
this is it!
Today is going to be awesome!
I get better looking all the time!

For my daughter, who laughs at me, saying I "do not get better looking every day!!!" She's wrong, though, and will learn in time. And physically, of course, I'm getting old like everyone else. My looks, however, are scintillating!
Perhaps looks are everything, from another perspective.

Eyes open to beauty can see past ugly shells, not assuming that your shell is ugly
It requires a lot of time, effort, failures and good fortune to lose the cuticles from before our eyes that blur our vision. Congrats with your ever increasing gorgeousness! Take care,

Well into middle life, yes these words are quite true. And it takes a hell of a lot less to make me better looking. It used to take tons of product in my hair…make up…high heels and miniskirts. Now just a warm shower and some comfortable jeans. As we find ourselves, we really do get better looking every day!
