As I sit here
watching as everyone
finds that certain someone
to spend their life with
and I start to wonder
is there anyone out there
for me?
Someone who can understand me,
someone who can
help heal the wounds
I've carried for a lifetime.
wounds from a past
still lost to me.
Wounds from a cold
shattered heart
never put back together
but still gets smaller
with each of my friends
problems.
So I just sit here
wondering if I'll ever
find her
or even if she's real.
