Have you ever needed someone so much
That you cry at night needing their touch?
Have you ever looked in someones eyes
And seen their past smiles and their cries?
Have you ever dreamt of someone every night
Knowing they were the one that'd make everything alright?
Have you ever wondered when they would come
Then have them appear in front of you as bright as the sun?
Have you ever wanted to say your feelings, but not know where to start?
Or noticed you both look at the same stars but, yet your still so far apart?
Have you ever tried playing a guitar with a missing string?
Or realized that you needed a voice in order to sing?
Have you ever just laid back wondering how their touch would feel?
Imagining it so hard that it almost felt real?
Have you ever been so anxious waiting for their call
Knowing that with their love, nothing else matters at all?
Have you ever had someone make you feel so complete
That you love them more with every heartbeat?
Have you ever told someone that their voice is the sweetest sound?
And not wanting to fly if they are still on the ground?
Well I can now say I have experienced all of this
I have wondered, dreamt, and waited for your kiss
No matter what the future brings you will always be in my heart
And I hope and pray that our souls will never part

You seem to have a done a fine job describing those feelings here. Nice write!! The meter changed up a little at different points through the poem, but the emotion and feeling of the piece overrode any technical issues for me.
Nice write!! (Maybe show the one you've written about the words you've penned. Who knows, it may work.)

deffinitiyl my fav lines bc this is so true to me rite now. wow very very good. thsi shows how much u truthfully miss someone. this much pain is hard to find in a poem that is wellwriten like this. very very good -

beautifully said. and congratulations for finding that. it actually inspires me to write a bit on a similar idea, but with a different spin on it. perhaps i'll try to write one today. the first verse truly is my favorite:

the emotion and the description... i can imagine looking into someone's eyes and seeing memories flooding out through them. good times and bad.

wow, i couldnt help but be brought to tears reading this. im in a halfway house at the moment and i dont know how much longer i am going to be in here or if the courts are going to pack me back in like an animal for a few more months. there is someone that i hold very near to my hear and i havent seen or heard from her in quite a while now. this write brought up all the emotions that i simply could not find words for. wonderful write. if you dont mind, i would like to add this poem to my ever growing list of favorites that i keep posted on my page. please let me know if that is ok with you.
