Those three words
Have never felt more real
Your sweet whisper
Makes me feel

Your sweet loving hands
That meet my own
Holding one another

My heartbeat fastens
When you are near
 And suddenly things make sense
Everything so perfectly clear

Every waking moment
I look into your eyes
I remember why I fell for you 
As we both release our sighs

Just one more time
Before we go to bed
He whisper again
As he closed his eyes and said
 
... I Love You ...

This goes out to my husband ... on our one year anniversary ... let it be known ... that nothing ... and I mean nothing ... could come between a love we share for one another ... I love my husband with every break that I take, and into the afterlife!

    This is really pretty and sweet. One thing to check for, there's a typo where whisper should be whispers. Great sentiment, it flows really well too. Thanks for entering and good luck in the contest. --Shannon

    beautiful poem, I did not like the word 'perfectly' though, it seems the poem would be better without it, that 's just my opinion, though, this poem is definately publishable, it is professional quality.

    Such sweet sweet loving words for your husband, this is truly beautiful and was a pleasure to read.
    I am certainly glad to have stumbled upon this, thank you for sharing. Its nice to read something so sweet and heartfelt and about something so real. I'm not sure if that makes any sense, but this made me feel like... there is love like this out there *I just have to find it lol*
